Asia's Largest Food and Hospitality Event - FHA2010 - Will return in April 2010

Singapore, November 13 January 2009 - Key industry players of Asia's food and hospitality industry will again converge at FHA (Food&HotelAsia) when the event returns to Singapore from 20 - 23 April 2010. Into its 17th edition in 2010, FHA has established itself as the premier industry networking platform and an effective channel to match buyers and sellers from across the globe.

FHA2008 presented a stellar show, having attracted a total of 53,000 attendees from over 90 countries/regions, and occupied seven halls or 72,000 square metres for the first time in its history, to host more than 2,500 exhibiting companies from 70 countries - reinforcing its reputation as Asia's foremost business event for the food and hospitality sectors.

More than 80 percent (not sure where you got this from as we collected less than 30% of the survey forms) of exhibitors have indicated that their participation in FHA2008 (Food&HotelAsia2008) have enabled them to effectively reach out to their priority industry sectors, according to a survey conducted with participating exhibitors and visitors. These priority sectors included distributors and importers, hospitality management sectors, retailers, airline, cruise and rail operators, food manufacturers and institutional caterers.

Two-thirds of exhibitors have indicated that visitors to FHA2008 came from priority markets within the Asia-Pacific region. The top priority markets are: Singapore, China, Australia & New Zealand, Malaysia and the Middle-East region.

From the feedback given by exhibitors, they were very pleased with the quality and turn-out of the show. Many of these exhibitors have already committed to their presence in the next edition in 2010.

Visitors felt their participation at FHA2008 had been well-spent, according to the survey. Their feedback indicated that the event featured an impressive profile of exhibitors suggest using products rather than exhibitorsnetwork of exhibitors and range of products, and an ideal opportunity provided toa good platform to network and learn about the latest technologies and market trends.

More than 90 percent of visitors have indicated that the companies and brands they seek were well represented at the show, and about 80 percent of visitors pointed out that the show has meetmet their sourcing needs. Nearly 90 percent of visitors indicated they will return to visit the next FHA in 2010.
